The Chatham Anglers (12-11) beat the Falmouth Commodores (13-10) 5-0 on Thursday at Veterans Field behind Andrew Knapp, who went 2-3 and hit a home run.He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.
The Falmouth Commodores couldn't get anything going as long as Louie Lechich was on the mound. The Falmouth Commodores managed just two hits off of Lechich, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out seven during his five innings of work.
John Colella put together a nice outing. The Chatham Anglers managed just one hit off of Colella, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
