The Chatham Anglers (11-9) beat the Harwich Mariners (14-6) 5-3 on Friday at Veterans Field behind Chad Morgan, who collected three hits.

The Chatham Anglers got the win thanks in large part to Ryan Thompson's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. Thompson allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk over 5 2/3 innings.

Brian Ragira racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Harwich Mariners. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

David Whitehead (3-1) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
