Trinkwon's walk-off single send the Hyannis Harbor Hawks home winners, 9-8

A walk-off single from Brandon Trinkwon brought home the winning run for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (4-12) in a 9-8 victory over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in 10 innings at McKeon Park on Tuesday.

Trinkwon racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He singled in the third and tenth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 17 runs and 21 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were nine pitchers used in the game.

Walter Wijas recorded his first win of the year for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Joey Denato (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks were sparked by Blake Austin and Mitchell Garver, who teamed up for three hits and two RBIs.
