The Schaumburg Boomers take out the Washington Wild Things with help from Sanchez, 6-4

Karexon Sanchez went 1-4 and hit a home run as the Schaumburg Boomers (54-42) took home a 6-4 victory over the Washington Wild Things (44-52) at CONSOL Energy Park on Sunday.

He homered in the third inning.

Shain Stoner racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the first inning.

Chandler Barnard had an impressive outing against the Schaumburg Boomers' lineup. Barnard held the Schaumburg Boomers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Robby Donovan improved to 11-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. He allowed four runs over five innings. Donovan struck out five, walked two and gave up four hits.

Gary Lee (7-5) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
