It took 15 innings, but the Washington Wild Things (30-40) managed to put away the Lake Erie Crushers (39-32) 2-1 on Saturday.

The Lake Erie Crushers' lineup had no answer for Gary Lee. Lee gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out two during his eight innings of work.
Alfonso Yevoli got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Yevoli struck out three, walked none and gave up no hits.
Travis Risser (4-4) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
