The Lake Erie Crushers (27-23) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 11-2 win over the River City Rascals (26-24) at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

An RBI single by Andrew Davis and a home run by Daniel Bowman helped the Lake Erie Crushers score five runs in the third. The Lake Erie Crushers had three hits in the inning.

Jason Taylor reached base five times. He scored two runs and had three RBIs. He homered in the eighth inning.

Paul Fagan struck out six, paving the way for a the Lake Erie Crushers win. Fagan allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Preston Vancil was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.
