A walk-off single from Andrew Davis brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (36-30) in a 2-1 victory over the Washington Wild Things (26-39) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Monday.

Davis had a hot bat for the Lake Erie Crushers. Davis went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

Josh Hungerman handled the Washington Wild Things' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Hungerman allowed no earned runs on four hits and three walks over five innings.

Jonathan Kountis recorded his third win of the year for the Lake Erie Crushers. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Nick Cicio couldn't get it done on the mound for the Washington Wild Things, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
