The Evansville Otters outdone by Correa and the Lake Erie Crushers, 6-2

Wally Correa collected three hits, sparking the Lake Erie Crushers (32-25) to a 6-2 victory over the Evansville Otters (23-34) on Saturday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Brad Duffy had an impressive outing against the Evansville Otters' lineup. Duffy held the Evansville Otters hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Taylor Black got on base three times in the game for the Evansville Otters. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Alex Loftin improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Bryce Morrow (5-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
