Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Schaumburg Boomers (22-13) and the Rockford RiverHawks (12-22), as the two teams put up 25 runs combined in a 15-10 the Schaumburg Boomers win.

The Schaumburg Boomers scored 10 runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Karexon Sanchez did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Schaumburg Boomers, reaching base four times. He scored three runs and had two RBIs. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Shane Prance recorded his first win for the Schaumburg Boomers even though he allowed five runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered 11 hits.

Jordan Liette ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in one-third of an inning, walked four and struck out none.
