Jason Taylor collected three hits, sparking the Lake Erie Crushers (42-32) to a 9-4 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies (43-31) on Wednesday at GCS Ballpark - Sauget, IL.

He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Mickey Jannis had an impressive outing against the Gateway Grizzlies' lineup. The Gateway Grizzlies managed just one hit off of Jannis, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Rogelio Noris racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Gateway Grizzlies. He singled in the eighth inning.

Paul Fagan got the win, running his season record to 7-5. He allowed four runs over five innings. Fagan struck out four, walked three and gave up three hits.

Chris Enourato ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
