Bryce Morrow held the Schaumburg Boomers (27-16) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Evansville Otters (18-25) to a 2-1 victory.

Morrow allowed four hits, no walks and struck out two.

The Schaumburg Boomers scored one run in the eighth on an RBI single by Chad Mozingo. Despite their efforts, the Schaumburg Boomers couldn't get over the hump.

Robby Donovan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
