Joshua Rickards kept the Evansville Otters (6-11) off the board during his six innings of work and the Lake Erie Crushers (7-10) beat the Evansville Otters, 1-0.

Rickards struck out four and allowed two walks and two hits.

Rogelio Noris pushed the Lake Erie Crushers ahead, in the sixth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Russell Moldenhauer hit into a fielder's choice, Noris came to the plate with the game scoreless in the sixth inning and doubled, bringing home Moldenhauer.

Robby Kuzdale reached base three times. He doubled in the sixth inning.

Matt Crim (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed one run.
