A walk-off sacrifice fly from Nate Baumann brought home the winning run for the Schaumburg Boomers (42-31) in a 3-2 victory over the London Rippers in 10 innings at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium on Thursday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Schaumburg Boomers' Baumann. Baumann went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth inning.

Jason Braun recorded his fourth win of the year for the Schaumburg Boomers. Braun struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

David Francis was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
