The Wenatchee AppleSox (37-17) continued to pile up the runs on Thursday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 13-2 win over the Kitsap BlueJackets (14-40) at Paul Thomas Field at Wenatchee .
Taylor Sparks put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and tripled in the eighth inning.
The Kitsap BlueJackets' lineup had no answer for Ben Brown. Brown held the Kitsap BlueJackets hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
Allen Hewey (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
