The Walla Walla Sweets (22-28) beat the Kelowna Falcons (28-25) 7-3 on Sunday at Borleske Stadium behind Ben Ruff, who went 4-4 at the plate.

He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.

J.J. Robinson picked up the win for the Walla Walla Sweets. Robinson pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and five walks while striking out five.

Reed Lavallee had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Brandon Marris couldn't get it done on the bump for the Kelowna Falcons, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
