The Edmonds get key pinch-hit in 7-6 victory over the Bellevue

Story by Narrative Science.

Chris Osborne was cold coming off the bench, but Osborne warmed up quickly as Osborne stroked a key pinch-hit single in the seven to lead the Edmonds (39-8) to a 7-6 win over the Bellevue (28-23) on Monday at David Story Field.

With the score tied at five in the seventh inning, Osborne came to the plate and singled.

The Edmonds' Osborne was perfect at the dish, going 4-4.

Andrew Kemmerer improved to 11-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Edmonds. He allowed four runs over three innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Brandon Mahovlich couldn't get it done on the bump for the Bellevue, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
