Freeland leads the Hyannis Harbor Hawks to 4-3 victory thanks to 10 strikeouts

A great effort by Kyle Freeland spurred the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (1-0) to a 4-3 win over the Bourne Braves on Tuesday at McKeon Park.

Freeland handled the Bourne Braves (0-1)'s lineup with ease, racking up 10 strikeouts. Freeland allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks over seven innings.

Tyler Spoon had three extra-base hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He doubled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

Ryan Kellogg was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Hyannis Harbor Hawks batters and allowing one run.

Tyler Kuresa racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Bourne Braves. He homered in the eighth inning.

Jordan Foley recorded his first win of the year for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Jack English couldn't get it done on the hill for the Bourne Braves, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks were sparked by Spoon and Brian Anderson, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
