Bowman helps the Lake Erie Crushers down the Washington Wild Things 4-2

Daniel Bowman went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Lake Erie Crushers (44-31) to a 4-2 victory over the Washington Wild Things (35-40) on Tuesday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

The Lake Erie Crushers relied on Matt Rein to eat up innings en route to the win. Rein allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Mark Samuelson paced the Washington Wild Things at the plate. Samuelson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Dan Goldstein was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
