Hudon allows no runs to lead the Nashua Silver Knights past the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide 6-0

Tom Hudon kept the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (22-26) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Nashua Silver Knights (31-17) beat the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide, 6-0.

Hudon allowed four hits, two walks and struck out three.

The Nashua Silver Knights blew out the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Nashua Silver Knights scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Jimmy Ricoy and a two-run double by EJ Martinez.

The Nashua Silver Knights were led by Matt Mottola's hitting. Mottola went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

Harry Ridge ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.
