The Southern Maryland Nationals (23-21) rolled over the Presstman Cardinals (14-30) 20-1 on Monday at Regency Furniture Stadium after an 11-run rally in the sixth inning.
Cameron Burns racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Nationals. He doubled in the first and sixth innings.
The Presstman Cardinals couldn't get anything going so long as Kyle Stricker was on the hill. Stricker held the Presstman Cardinals hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six.
Tyler Honeycutt recorded his first win of the year for the Southern Maryland Nationals. He allowed one run over four innings. Honeycutt struck out seven, walked none and gave up four hits.
Brandon Taylor (2-2) took the loss for the Presstman Cardinals. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked two and struck out none.
