The RGV Whitewings scored three runs in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Dan Evett and two singles. Still, the RGV Whitewings couldn't catch the McAllen Thunder.
Tomar Hudson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.
Steven Romero picked up the win for the McAllen Thunder. Romero pitched eight innings and allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out six.
