The Rockland Boulders top the Quebec Capitales in back-and-forth affair, 8-7

The Rockland Boulders (4-2) and the Quebec Capitales (6-1) traded the lead five times on Saturday, but the Rockland Boulders ended up on top with an 8-7 win in seven innings over the Quebec Capitales.

Chris Edmondson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Josue Peley racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Quebec Capitales. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Nick Serino improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockland Boulders. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Chad Jones (0-1) took the loss for the Quebec Capitales. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The Rockland Boulders were sparked by Billy Alvino and Jerod Edmondson, who teamed up for eight hits and three RBIs.
