The Wichita Wingnuts take out the Kansas City T-Bones with help from Kahaulelio, 4-3

Jake Kahaulelio went 2-5 and hit a home run, helping the Wichita Wingnuts (2-1) to a 4-3 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones (1-2) on Saturday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Matt Padgett racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Kansas City T-Bones. He homered in the first inning.

Jose Jimenez looked sharp on the mound. Jimenez held the Wichita Wingnuts hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Ryan Hinson recorded his first win of the year for the Wichita Wingnuts. He allowed three runs over five innings. Hinson struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.

Lucas Irvine (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
