The Lima Locos outlast the Xenia Scouts in extras, 5-3

The Lima Locos (21-16) put in a full day's work in a 10-inning, 5-3 win over the Xenia Scouts (17-23) Sunday at Grady Field.

With the score tied at three, Matt Britton came to the plate and reached on an error, bringing home Tyler Grogg.

Casey Schroeder reached base three times in the game for the Lima Locos. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Ethan McKenney looked sharp on the mound. The Xenia Scouts managed just one hit off of the the Lima Locos' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Clayton Brandt did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Xenia Scouts, reaching base four times. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Aron Mcree recorded his third win of the year for the Lima Locos. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Daniel Przeniczny (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
