The Lima Locos make the most of 10 hits in 4-2 victory over the Xenia Scouts

The Lima Locos (20-16) and the Xenia Scouts (17-22) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Lima Locos capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Grady Field.

Matt Britton put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Lima Locos. He tripled in the third inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Despite the loss, the Xenia Scouts' John Cain dominated the Lima Locos' batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Travis Bergen recorded his second win of the year for the Lima Locos. He allowed two runs over six innings. Bergen struck out five, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Channing Sanders (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
