Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Richmond RiverRats (20-30) outscored the West Virginia Miners (33-17) 12-8.

The teams totaled 20 hits in the game.

Jake Craft racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Richmond RiverRats. He singled in the fourth innings and tripled in the eighth inning.

Kaeo Aliviado got on base three times in the game for the West Virginia Miners. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and third innings.

Michael Chiaro improved to 2-6 on the year by picking up the win for the Richmond RiverRats. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. Chiaro struck out two, walked three and gave up eight hits.

Joshua James (1-1) took the loss for the West Virginia Miners. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out six.
