Rolando Celis kept the Slippery Rock Sliders (15-18) off the board during his eight innings of work and the West Virginia Miners (21-12) beat the Slippery Rock Sliders, 6-0.

Celis allowed four hits, one walk and struck out one.

Zach Woolcock delivered a big hit off the bench in the six.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the West Virginia Miners' six-run win.

With the game scoreless in the sixth inning Woolcock came to the plate and singled.

The West Virginia Miners blew out the Slippery Rock Sliders thanks to 11 hits, including zero extra base hits. The West Virginia Miners scored three runs in the seventh on a two-run double by Pat Kregeloh and an RBI double by Griffin Moore.

Zach Strecker (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out three.
