Duarte's walk-off single send the Hannibal Cavemen home winners, 3-2

A walk-off single from Michael Duarte brought home the winning run for the Hannibal Cavemen (21-24) in a 3-2 victory over the Springfield Sliders in 13 innings at Clemens Field on Wednesday.

Duarte did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Hannibal Cavemen, reaching base three times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth and thirteenth innings.

Ryan Cooper reached base three times. He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Kyle Kuck handled the Springfield Sliders (8-39)'s lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Kuck allowed one earned run on three hits and four walks over seven innings.

Wes Judish got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Chance Simpson (0-3) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed one run.
