Jordan Nieman had three RBIs, sparking the Richmond RiverRats (9-7) to a 6-1 victory over the Slippery Rock Sliders (6-10) on Friday at McBride Stadium.

He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Cody Jones pitched lights out for the Richmond RiverRats. The Slippery Rock Sliders managed just one hit off of Jones, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Shane Bryant recorded his second win of the year for the Richmond RiverRats. He allowed one run over five innings. Bryant struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.

Zach Place (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out nine.
