A walk-off solo home run from Kyle Leslie brought home the winning run for the Richmond RiverRats (4-2) in a 6-5 victory over the Butler Blue Sox (3-3) in 12 innings at McBride Stadium on Saturday.
Leslie paced the Richmond RiverRats at the plate. Leslie went 2-6, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the twelfth inning.
Austin Hunt had two extra-base hits for the Richmond RiverRats. He doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.
Trey Garrett recorded his first win of the year for the Richmond RiverRats. He allowed one run over two innings. Garrett struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.
Anthony Battaglia was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
