Richard Martin Jr. had two extra base hits as the Falmouth Commodores (19-14) took home a 5-0 victory over the Orleans Firebirds (16-18) at Eldredge Park on Friday.

He homered in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and tripled in the ninth inning.

Daniel Koger had an impressive outing against the Orleans Firebirds' lineup. The Orleans Firebirds managed just one hit off of Koger, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Bobby Poyner (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.

The Falmouth Commodores were sparked by Troy Stein and Martin Jr., who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
