Fisher's walk-off single send the Harwich Mariners home winners, 8-7

A walk-off single from Derek Fisher brought home the winning run for the Harwich Mariners (11-8) in an 8-7 victory over the Falmouth Commodores in 12 innings at Whitehouse Field on Friday.

Fisher got on base four times in the game for the Harwich Mariners. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first, third, and twelfth innings.

Kevin Cron rocked the Harwich Mariners with two home runs. Cron went 5-6 in the game with two RBIs and three runs scored. Cron homered in the second and seventh innings.

Chris Oliver got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Oliver struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Zechariah Lemond (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The Harwich Mariners were sparked by Tanner English and Fisher, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
