The Hyannis Harbor Hawks outdone by Wiseman and the Cotuit Kettleers, 7-2

The Cotuit Kettleers (7-3) beat the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (6-3) 7-2 on Sunday at McKeon Park behind Rhett Wiseman, who had two extra base hits.

He doubled in the second and third innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Joel Seddon brought the heat against the Hyannis Harbor Hawks during his outing. The Hyannis Harbor Hawks managed just two hits off of the the Cotuit Kettleers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Rocky McCord was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Cotuit Kettleers batters and allowing two runs.

It was a good day at the plate for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks' Jake Hernandez. Hernandez went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Jordan Foley (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed five runs.

The Cotuit Kettleers were sparked by Mike Ford and Wiseman, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
