A great effort by Landon Hernandez led the Gateway Grizzlies (41-27) to a 14-4 win over the River City Rascals (32-35) on Saturday at GCS Ballpark.

Jake Stephens improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Gateway Grizzlies. He allowed four runs over 7 2/3 innings. Stephens struck out four, walked two and gave up six hits.
Tommy Mendoza ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
