The Rockford Aviators (15-31) beat the Schaumburg Boomers (28-20) 7-5 on Wednesday at Aviators Stadium behind Jeff Kremer, who drove in three runs.

He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.

Nick Anderson allowed no earned runs, five hits and four walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Chad Mozingo put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He doubled in the third and seventh innings.

The Rockford Aviators' lineup had no answer for Clark Labitan. Labitan held the Rockford Aviators hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Matt Frahm recorded his second win of the year for the Rockford Aviators. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.
