Crawford's single gives the River City Rascals walk-off win over the Lake Erie Crushers, 7-6

A walk-off single from Evan Crawford brought home the winning run for the River City Rascals (8-8) in a 7-6 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (6-11) at T. R. Hughes Ballpark on Friday.

Crawford racked up two RBIs on two hits for the River City Rascals. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Steve Carrillo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the River City Rascals. He singled in the eighth inning.

Kyle Owings brought the heat against the Lake Erie Crushers during his outing. Owings held the Lake Erie Crushers hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Andrew Davis reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Brad Duffy couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lake Erie Crushers, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
