Michael Nix kept the Camden Riversharks (7-15) off the board during his six innings of work and the Sugar Land Skeeters (19-3) beat the Camden Riversharks, 15-1.
Nix struck out nine and allowed two walks and three hits.
Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Sugar Land Skeeters to easily put away the Camden Riversharks. A two-run double by Jason Lane during the first inning and an RBI double by Dominic Ramos, a groundout by Dustin Martin, and an RBI double by Steve Moss in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Sugar Land Skeeters.
Kevin Rios racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He singled in the second and third innings and homered in the fourth inning.
Armando Gabino ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.
