Extra-inning thriller favors the Somerset Patriots, 7-4 winners over the York Revolution

The Somerset Patriots (13-5) put in a full day's work in a 14-inning, 7-4 win over the York Revolution (10-9) Sunday at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

With the score tied at four in the fourteenth inning, Bobby Stevens came to the plate and homered.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to six lead changes in the game.

Jake Fox reached base four times in the game for the Somerset Patriots. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the seventh and twelfth innings.

The York Revolution's lineup had no answer for David Harden. The York Revolution managed just one hit off of the the Somerset Patriots' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none during his three innings of work.

Kris Regas was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
