The North Shore Navigators need walk-off sacrifice fly to beat the Torrington Titans, 7-6

A walk-off sacrifice fly from Kyle Devin brought home the winning run for the North Shore Navigators (25-22) in a 7-6 victory over the Torrington Titans (20-27) in 12 innings at Fraser Field on Monday.

Devin racked up two RBIs on two hits for the North Shore Navigators. He singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Jamill Moquete did his best to jumpstart the offense for the North Shore Navigators, reaching base four times. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Thomas Crispi baffled the Torrington Titans, striking out nine batters. Crispi allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Mat Snider improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the North Shore Navigators. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered no hits.

Pedro Escarfullery couldn't get it done on the bump for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
