The Nashua Silver Knights take out the Torrington Titans with help from Adams, 5-3

Johnny Adams collected three hits as the Nashua Silver Knights (15-6) took home a 5-3 victory over the Torrington Titans (10-13) at Holman Stadium on Thursday.

He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Geoff Fisher looked sharp on the mound. The Torrington Titans managed just one hit off of Fisher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Connor Landers was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Nashua Silver Knights batters and allowing zero runs.

Micheal Odenwaelder had a hot bat for the Torrington Titans. Odenwaelder went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Tom Baroni improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Pat Austin (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
