Picerni's walk-off single send the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide home winners, 6-5

A walk-off single from C.J Picerni brought home the winning run for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (8-6) in a 6-5 victory over the North Shore Navigators at The Ball Park on Wednesday.

Picerni racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.

The North Shore Navigators (7-4) couldn't get anything going as long as Michael Franzese was on the mound. Franzese held the North Shore Navigators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Tim Hendricks was hot from the plate for the North Shore Navigators. Hendricks went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fourth, and eighth innings.

Evan Brisentine improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Brandon Walsh couldn't get it done on the mound for the North Shore Navigators, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
