Spano's single gives the Bethesda Big Train walk-off win over the Baltimore Redbirds, 7-6

A walk-off single from Josh Spano brought home the winning run for the Bethesda Big Train (4-1) in a 7-6 victory over the Baltimore Redbirds (3-3) in 10 innings at Shirley Povich Field on Friday.

Spano got on base four times in the game for the Bethesda Big Train. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second and tenth innings.

Ryne Willard reached base four times in the game for the Bethesda Big Train. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the fourth inning.

Bubba Derby brought the heat against the Baltimore Redbirds during his outing. The Baltimore Redbirds managed just one hit off of the the Bethesda Big Train's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his 3 1/3 innings of work.
