The East Texas Pump Jacks (2-1) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Victoria Generals (2-1), securing a 7-4 victory on Tuesday at Driller Park.

The East Texas Pump Jacks pulled out the win thanks to a strong fourth inning. An error scored Logan Preston and gave the East Texas Pump Jacks the lead for good.

Whitt Dorsey reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

The East Texas Pump Jacks relied on Ty Schlottmann to eat up innings en route to the win. Schlottmann pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out three.

Trent Wagner was solid at the plate for the Victoria Generals. Wagner went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the ninth innings.

Trae Davis (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
