Mel Stevenson held the Humber College (2-2) scoreless for seven innings to boost the University of Western Ontario (4-1) to a 5-0 victory.

Stevenson allowed six hits, no walks and struck out six.

Erica Brown delivered a big hit off the bench in the two.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the University of Western Ontario's five-run win.

With the University of Western Ontario leading by one, Brown came to the plate and singled.

Kara Stirling was solid at the plate for the University of Western Ontario. Stirling went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the third inning.

Jessica O'Quinn couldn't get it done on the bump for the Humber College, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
