Russell Moldenhauer knocked in three runs, sparking the Lake Erie Crushers (53-41) to a 6-2 victory in seven innings over the Southern Illinois Miners (54-39) on Sunday at Rent One Park, Marion, IL.

He homered in the third inning.

Mickey Jannis looked sharp on the mound. Jannis held the Southern Illinois Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Cannon Lester was solid at the plate for the Southern Illinois Miners. Lester went 2-2 and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Trevor Longfellow improved to 11-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Cody Hall (9-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
