After six lead changes in Sunday's game at CMC-NorthEast Stadium, the USSSA Pride (27-12) finally pulled out a 6-4 win over the Carolina Diamonds (15-24).

Kelly Kretschman got a hit in each of her three at bats. She singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.

Cat Osterman's seven strikeouts helped the USSSA Pride to the victory. Osterman allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks over four innings.

Bianca Mejia racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Carolina Diamonds. She singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Danielle Spaulding ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with her fourth loss of the year. She lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
