Ryan Howell drove in the winning run to give the Wenatchee AppleSox (1-1) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Wenatchee AppleSox hung on to beat the Bellingham Bells (1-1) 4-1 on Sunday.Mitchell Gunsolus singled to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Ty Moore. Finally, Howell came to the plate with the score tied at one, and doubled, bringing home Gunsolus.
It was a good day at the plate for the Wenatchee AppleSox's Gunsolus. Gunsolus went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth and seventh innings.
