The Dubois County Bombers held off the Terre Haute Rex, as the Terre Haute Rex were unable to overcome a three-run third inning deficit.

The Terre Haute Rex scored two runs in the ninth on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Kempf and an RBI single by Patrick Chandler. Despite their efforts, the Terre Haute Rex couldn't get over the hump.

Alex Britt got the win for the Dubois County Bombers thanks to eight strikeouts. Britt allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks over eight innings.

Tommy Strunc (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
