A walk-off error from Brandon Decker brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (35-28) in a 5-4 victory over the Road Warriors (1-2) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Friday.
Decker reached base one time.
The Road Warriors couldn't get anything going as long as Pat Arnold was on the mound. The Road Warriors managed just one hit off of the the Lake Erie Crushers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Tyler Hall was hot from the plate for the Road Warriors. Hall went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
Jonathan Kountis improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Jared Christensen couldn't get it done on the mound for the Road Warriors, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
