The New Jersey Jackals need walk-off single to beat the Gary SouthShore RailCats, 6-5

A walk-off single from Chris Henderson brought home the winning run for the New Jersey Jackals in a 6-5 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats (26-34) in 10 innings at Yogi Berra Stadium on Saturday.

Henderson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He homered in the third inning and singled in the tenth inning.

Francisco Caraballo racked up three RBIs on three hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats' lineup had no answer for Jeff Gogal. The Gary SouthShore RailCats managed just one hit off of the the New Jersey Jackals' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Marco Gonzalez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
